TRAINING FIELDS

At the K-9 Wellness Center, we’re proud to offer both indoor and outdoor training fields available for private rental. Whether you’re an individual working on obedience skills, a trainer running a small class, or a club hosting a practice session, our fields provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for dogs and handlers alike.

Our indoor training field features comfortable climate control and durable, dog-friendly flooring—perfect for year-round training, especially during extreme weather. The outdoor field offers a spacious, fully fenced area with mountain views and plenty of room for movement, recall practice, and group activities.

Both spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Rentals include access to water, waste stations, and convenient parking right outside the facility.

Whether you’re training for fun, for sport, or for progress, the K-9 Wellness Center gives you the space and peace of mind to focus on what matters most—you and your dog, working together.

TRAINING FIELD PRICING + INFO

  • The outdoor training field is a full fenced in grass field that is great for training practice, organized group play, dog sports, and more with your dog.

    $25 per hour

    Bookings require an online account and agreement to our “field use policies”.

  • The outdoor training field is a smaller space that is inside the K9 Wellness Center. The rubber mat floored area is heated and air conditioned, making it great for training practice, organized group play, dog sports, and more with your dog year-round.

TRAINING FIELD POLICIES

We are committed to providing a safe, structured, and fun environment for your dog. Please review the following policies, which apply to all training field reservations.

  • All field reservations or rentals must be paid in full at the time of booking.

    Users may not transfer or share reserved time without Facility’s prior written approval.

  • Cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.

  • I understand that the outdoor training field is subject to weather and environmental conditions.

    K-9 Wellness Center is not responsible for cancellations or interruptions due to weather, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances.  The decision whether to issue a refund or a rescheduling credit or to reschedule a class or to none of the above is at the sole discretion of the K-9 Wellness Center.

  • Aggressive, disruptive, or unsafe behavior by dogs or handlers will not be tolerated. If my dog behaves in such a manner, I shall be solely responsible for any damages caused by that dog.

    K-9 Wellness Center reserves the right to refuse entry and/or to remove any person or dog from the property at its sole discretion.

    I understand that no refunds will be provided if I am refused entry or asked to leave for any reason.

  • I agree to respect the property, equipment, neighboring areas, other people and dogs.

    I will clean up after myself, my guests, and my dog(s) and dispose of waste properly.

    Any damage to any person, property, fencing, or equipment at the Facility that is caused by me, my dog(s) or my guests will be my sole financial responsibility.

  • I agree to maintain full control of my dog(s) at all times.

    I am solely responsible for the actions of my dog(s) and any guests I bring.

    I will not leave my dog(s) unattended at any time while on Facility property.

    I agree to follow all Facility rules and the directions of Facility staff and trainers.

    Any damage to any person, property, fields, fencing, or equipment caused by myself, my guests and/or my dogs shall be my sole financial responsibility.

  • All dogs entering the Facility must be current on vaccinations required by California state and local law and by Facility. 

    REQUIRED:

    • Rabies

    • DHPP


    RECOMMENDED:

    • Bordetella / Kennel Cough

    • Canine Influenza (H3n2)

    You are required to complete the Immunization/Vaccination section in the online booking portal before you will be allowed to schedule a service.

    Dogs showing signs of illness, contagious conditions, or unsafe behavior shall not be permitted. If I bring such a dog to the Facility, knowingly or unknowingly, I shall be solely responsible for any damages caused by that dog.

TRAINING FIELD FAQ

  • Our indoor and outdoor training fields are available to individual handlers, professional trainers, and small groups looking for a safe, secure place to train or host classes. Whether you’re practicing obedience, agility, or group work, our spaces are designed to support a variety of activities.

  • Yes. Please contact us before making the reservation - groups/trainers have a different reservation process with different requirements.

  • All dogs must be healthy, up to date on vaccinations, and under control at all times. Handlers are responsible for supervising their dogs and cleaning up after them. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs.

  • Rental time slots are booked in hourly increments through our online portal.
