At the K-9 Wellness Center, your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness come first. We’ve designed our hotel suites to feel calm, clean, and homey—so your dog can relax while you’re away. Each suite is private, climate-controlled, and outfitted with cozy bedding, giving your pup a quiet place to unwind after playtime.

Our caring staff takes time to get to know every guest, making sure routines stay familiar and comfort levels stay high. Whether your dog loves to stretch out in a spacious suite or snuggle up in a smaller one, we’re here to make their stay feel like a home away from home.

Please take a little bit of time to review the information below about our hotel program, including our requirements for all dogs staying with us.

We’re committed to providing safe, reliable, and professional care for your dog. Please review the following service policies, which apply to all hotel reservations. By booking a stay with us, you agree to these terms.

  • A 50% deposit is required within 24 hours of your reservation confirmation. A confirmation email will be sent to you from our booking platform.

The remaining 50% balance is due at the time of drop-off.

Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or no-show.

  • Boarding reservations are final.

We do not offer refunds of any amounts paid for boarding or rescheduling of boarding appointments for any reason.

  • Designated Boarding Service Hours:

    • Drop-Off = 2:00pm - 4:45pm

    • Pick-Up = 8:00am - 11:00am

You can request early or late drop-off at the time of booking your boarding. These options are available as “Add On” services when booking your hotel stay online.

Early drop-off allows you to drop-off your dog as early as 8:00am.

Late Pick-Up allows you to pick-up your dog as late as 5:00pm

If a dog is not picked up by closing time (5:00pm), they will be transferred back into overnight boarding, and the owner will be charged the standard nightly boarding rate plus any applicable late fees.

  • Owners must provide their dog’s regular food at check-in, with enough to cover the full length of stay.

All food must be individually bagged for each feeding for each dog.  If you require your dog to receive additional supplements with each meal, you will need to add those supplements to each daily meal bag.

All food must be clearly labeled with the dog’s name and feeding instructions - specifically if that meal is for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

If no food is provided, or if the provided food runs out during the stay, K-9 Wellness Center will provide our in-house food option at the owner’s expense - Medicus Bland Diet will be provided at $55 per 32 ounce bag.

  • Owners must provide all medications in their original containers, clearly labeled with the dog’s name, dosage, and administration instructions.

Written instructions must be provided via the online booking portal and verified at check-in.

Medications will be administered as directed, but K-9 Wellness Center staff are not veterinary professionals, and we cannot guarantee the same level of precision as a licensed veterinarian.

If specialized medical care or veterinary-administered treatment is required, the owner will be responsible for any related veterinary costs via the Bishop Veterinary Hospital.

  • To maintain a calm, balanced social environment, dogs participating in open group play must be spayed or neutered upon reaching social maturity.

This policy is in place to help ensure a safe, and harmonious environment for all guests. We follow a structured policy regarding intact dogs but our team is happy to discuss personalized accommodation options on an individual basis.

    Female Dogs (Spay Policy)

Females in heat can cause stress, aggression, and safety risks among other guests.

    • Permitted:

      • Spayed females (preferred).

      • Intact females may be accepted only if not in heat and subject to:

      • Behavior evaluation for any dogs that have had a heat cycle

    Boarding Accommodations for Intact Adults

We understand that some owners choose to delay altering their dogs for health, competition, or breeding reasons. However, boarding an unaltered dog carries an inherent risk.

Intact adult dogs are welcome to board with us under the following conditions:

    • Participation in structured private enrichment rather than open group play.

    • Placement in premium suite accommodations.

    • Additional management fee for individualized care.

    • This allows us to maintain social harmony while still serving responsible owners.

  • You are required to complete the Immunization/Vaccination section in the online booking portal before you will be allowed to schedule a service.

Owners are required to provide proof from their veterinarian of the following vaccinations - these must be administered at minimum 2 weeks in advance of your stay at the K-9 Wellness Center:

    1. Bordetella / Kennel Cough Vaccine

    2. Rabies Vaccine

    3. DHPP Vaccine

    4. Canine Influenza (H3n2 Vaccine) - not required but recommended

  • We recommend bringing some of your dog’s regular personal items to help them feel more comfortable, something with your scent can be extra comforting for your dog.

Personal items (toys, collars, leashes, clothing, bedding, etc.) may be left but are at the owner’s risk and may not be returned in the same condition.

  • If your dog becomes ill or injured while in the care of K-9 Wellness Center, staff will seek veterinary treatment at the Bishop Veterinary Hospital, including transportation from the K-9 Wellness Center to the Bishop Veterinary Hospital.

The K-9 Wellness Center staff will make reasonable attempts to contact owners.
