All dogs must complete a Temperament Evaluation with K-9 Wellness Center staff prior to attending daycare. For dogs that are staying in our hotel, ideally owners will complete a Temperament Evaluation prior to arrival but if that is not possible, our staff can preform the evaluation upon your arrival.

The purpose of temperament testing is to evaluate each dog’s behavior to ensure safe, stress-free interactions within the daycare environment. Identifying individual temperaments helps staff place dogs in compatible playgroups, provide tailored care, and minimize the risk of behavioral incidents.

Dogs who do not pass the evaluation will not be permitted to attend daycare.

Temperament Evaluation Scheduling:

• Bookable on the K-9 Wellness Center GINGR online portal

• Evaluations are 30 minutes

• Available between 10am and 2pm - Thursday through Monday

• Must be booked in advance - not available for walk-up

• The dog owner must stay at the K-9 Wellness Center during the evaluation

• Each dog needs to have their own appointment - multiple dogs cannot share an evaluation appointment
