The purpose of temperament testing is to evaluate each dog’s behavior to ensure safe, stress-free interactions within the daycare and hotel environment. Identifying individual temperaments helps staff place dogs in compatible playgroups, provide tailored care, and minimize the risk of behavioral incidents.

DAYCARE
All dogs must complete a Temperament Evaluation with K-9 Wellness Center staff prior to attending daycare.

Dogs who do not pass the evaluation will not be permitted to attend daycare.

HOTEL
For dogs that are staying in our hotel, we can complete a temperament evaluation during their stay.

Temperament Evaluation Scheduling:

• Call our front desk staff to schedule your evaluation - (760) 582-2161

• Evaluations are 30 minutes

• Must be booked in advance - not available for walk-up

• The dog owner must stay at the K-9 Wellness Center during the evaluation

• Each dog needs to have their own appointment - multiple dogs cannot share an evaluation appointment
