Full payment is required at the time of booking for all daycare services unless the owner has a valid/current daycare membership plan on file, which covers the appointment.

Dogs will not be admitted to daycare unless payment has been made in advance or a membership plan is active.

Daycare reservations are final.

We do not offer refunds or rescheduling of daycare appointments per our policy, including early/late pick-up or drop-off fees.

All dogs must complete a Temperament Evaluation with K-9 Wellness Center staff prior to attending daycare.

This evaluation ensures the safety of your dog and others in group play.

Dogs who do not pass the evaluation will not be permitted to attend daycare.

Temperament Evaluation Scheduling:

• Bookable on the K-9 Wellness Center website

• Evaluation is 30 minutes

• Available during normal business hours - Thursday through Monday

• Must be booked in advance - not available for walk-up

• Each dog needs to have his or her own appointment - multiple dogs cannot share an evaluation appointment

Standard Daycare Service Hours:

• Drop-Off = 7:30am

• Pick-Up = 5:30pm

Dogs must be dropped off and picked up during designated daycare service hours.

Early drop-off and late pick-up can be requested and paid for at time of scheduling daycare - see hours and fees below.

Early Drop-Off:

• 6:30am - 7:30am

• $10 per dog
  

Late Pick-Up:

• 5:30pm - 6:30pm

• $10 per dog

These options are available as “Add On” services when booking your dog daycare dates online.

Late Pick-Up Policy: If a dog is not picked up by 5:30pm, a late fee of $10 will be applied for up to 1 hour. If the dog is not picked up by 6:30pm, they will be transferred to overnight boarding at the owner’s expense (standard boarding rate plus any applicable fees).

Owners may provide food or treats for their dog if a mid-day meal is required.

Food must be individually bagged and clearly labeled with the dog’s name and feeding instructions.

If food is not provided but required by the owner, K-9 Wellness Center will provide our in-house food option at the owner’s expense - Medicus Bland Diet will be provided at $55 per 32 ounce bag.

Medication will only be administered if needed mid-day, if morning medication is necessary then the owner should administer before dropping off for daycare.

Owners must provide all medications in their original containers, clearly labeled with the dog’s name, dosage, and administration instructions.

Written instructions must be provided at drop-off each day the medication is required.

Medications will be administered as directed, but K-9 Wellness Center staff are not veterinary professionals, and we cannot guarantee the same level of precision as a licensed veterinarian.

If medical care or veterinary-administered/assessment and/or treatment is required during daycare, reasonable efforts will be made to contact the owner to discuss, the owner will be contacted and is responsible for all related veterinary costs incurred with such assessment and/or treatment.

Daycare includes group play with other dogs, which carries inherent risks such as scratches, bites, or rough play injuries.

Owners must disclose any behavioral concerns or aggression history before scheduling daycare.

Dogs that display unsafe or aggressive behavior during daycare may be refused future services.

You are required to complete the Immunization/Vaccination section in the online booking portal before you will be allowed to schedule a service.

Owners are required to provide proof from their veterinarian of the following vaccinations - these must be administered at minimum 2 weeks in advance of your daycare start at the K-9 Wellness Center:

1. Bordetella / Kennel Cough Vaccine

2. Rabies Vaccine

3. DHPP Vaccine

4. Canine Influenza (H3n2 Vaccine) - not required but recommended
